Leninism was different from marx"s original theory of communism. Revolution occurred in a backward economy + literacy low: electoral system was corrupt very few votes needed to enter parliament, were using democracy to destroy democracy, creation of emergency laws = leaders can shut down. Communism contained to specific society and then spreads slowly as a process. Had ideologies of salvation where we had only one chance to overthrow capitalists. Looking to a future where we overcome class inequality. Capitalism/industrialization will not stop, just stop producing inequalities. Capitalism/industrialization only used to create war and return to past
