Next: hb >>> small erythrocytes (microcytic anemia) with low cytoplasmic hb concentration (hypochromic light in colour) Iron deficiency: lab investigations erythocytes are much smaller in anemia patients. Iron deficiency: treatment can be treated if discovered early.
