Body fat, leptin in girls: geographical location, ses, family experiences, secular trend, when puberty happens it is not a universal experience: depends on who you are, where you are, family history. Berk"s perspective boys can gain more support if they talked to people more (about the changes they"re undergoing) Emotional responses to puberty: more negative life events, stronger responses.
