Attitudes(positive or negative feelings about engaging in behaviour) and subjective norms (perception of others as to whether a behaviour is appropriate. ) Beliefs concerning resources and opportunities that people perceive that they possess. Direct behaviour is what the individual perceives the behaviour to be. Madden and ellen: subjective reported less control over getting a good night sleep than over taking vitamin supplements.
