Pay will always motivate workers because most people want to make money and will work harder to earn it. Predicting organizational behaviour- lives are easier when we can anticipate when or how people will act, like when a friend will be angry or happy. Management- getting things accomplished in organizations through others. If behaviour can be predicted and explained it can often be managed. Point is not to overanalyze a problem, have evidence based management. Evidence based management- translating principles based on the best scientific evidence into organizational practices.
