Leo groake: argues that censorship of porn is compatible with mill"s harm principle. Lorenne clark: should be censored because it"s hate literature. Wendy mcelroy: porn should be seen as a part of women"s sexual liberation. The right to restrict liberty is just only if the persons involved are un-consenting or if the persons involved are being restricted for the purpose of not harming others. Related to the avoidance of suffering principle but considers other indirect harms more particularly. Mill asserts that the avoidance of harm is the primary reason we should want to restrict people"s behaviour by legal force. Studies suggest rapists sometimes make their victims imitate sex acts depicted in porn. Higher proportion of male viewers tends to think women enjoy aggressive forced sex than non-viewers.
