Firstly, i believe that jordan michaels is wrong on insisting that a medical note is unnecessary. Jordan michaels took an extended leave, during which an exception was made for him to receive his full salary. His condition debilitated him from working and his word that he is now fully functional is simply not sufficient. His employers would be the ones to suffer if. A liability falls onto them if he is not physically fit, and if he does not justify his return, there is no guarantee that he will be functional.
