One variable will not influence a response to the second variable. Null hypothesis tells you that the variables are not dependent, research question tells you if that they are dependent. Rejection of null hypothesis = they are dependent. How much calories you eat vs how much weight you gain would be classified as dependent variables. Gss 2012 dataset is good for the essay because there are a lot of good variables, if you don"t want to use an outside source. Now you will have a chance to select the rows and columns. If you declare yourself to be white, you are more likely to allow racists to teach.
