Epistemology: how we know what we know: people collect information: Indirectly through specific information sources such as friends, teachers, parents, books, tv, internet et cetera: we are forced to rely on the quality of someone else"s observations. The ancient astronaut cover up: first news release stated that it was a flying saucer, next day higher authority stated it was a weather balloon. Epistemology: all knowledge presented is indirect knowledge: government wants to keep it hided to prevent chaos, hidden somewhere in the desert, hiding weapon technology, and other technology hidden to prevent a change in the monopoly of wealth holders. 1950: and explosion of technology: they believe this technology was discovered through access of et knowledge. If we can travel to other planets why would they not travel here: armstrong supposedly saw a ufo taking off from a crater on the moon.
