There are different stages aka software life cycle: requirements gathering- what the customer wants, what is wanted and is expected. Talking to people, talking to the customers and jointing it down. What it"s going to do: design stage- trying to solve the problems. Figuring out how to do it: testing- codes are not always perfect. Does it do what it"s supposed to do/ or what its designed to do: installation, maintenance- fixing glitches from the earlier stages, This course is based on the requirements and the design. There is a job known as a system analyst- understanding what the users want. What are the requirements: not talk about technical questions, what do you want it to do, who"s going to use it, what the system to do without the technical details. What is design: what system is best to meet the requirements. Why 2 separate stages: requirements are easy to ignore.
