Believing that they are poor is very ethnocentric. Women gather (70% of the diet) they bring a lot to the group. Desiring less not desiring the quantities that individuals have. Producing more producing a lot of things, a lot of choice. Is not a universal measure of wealth and power. To be rich means to be well integrated in a community. To be poor is to be isolated (textbook, p 227) To be rich or poor is defined by your society. In some societies ones the succeeds in loving everyone. Not all societies set the same economical priorities. Different societies use different principles to organize their economic life.
