People are becoming more similar to each other and they are becoming more aware of eachother however this isn"t the case there are still cultural differences especially between cultures in society; native indians and canadians We still have ethic/class conflicts, war, etc. this is still problematic. Nothing is universal: westernization, americanization: mcdonalds, hollywood, wall street. ****** true. simiar . : transformation of spatial organization of social relations, supraterritoriality. When we talk about exchange of ideas and goods and services we talking about a global scale: earth is a space; supraterritorial interaction among individuals. Are we living in a global world: hyperglobalists: (think it"s a new phenomena adopt liberal capitalist principles of economy and open their borders they become interdependent and over time, societites become interdependent of eachother and extreme interconnectedness, cultural homogenization.
