Document Summary

We think/ process both consciously and unconsciously (i. e. ) the influence the larger media has on us such as body image and gender roles in movies, advertisements, etc. Our criticism proves the point that we digest and unconsciously reflect on the society and the social world. Yet there are different people who receive and interpret those images and messages on a greater or lesser value. We have choices but within fields of limited possibilities. Human agency: our capacity as individual actors; the internal debate where you are selecting between making a decision or engaging in a behavior and prioritizing one over the other. We have the capacity to critically reflect and innovate, from present conditions. Whatever is widely circulating, we have the capacity to think about whether we like it or not and to express our standpoint on the topic (i. e. ) technology.
