Question: I was wonderingwhat determines the maximum magnifications one can have in aopitcal microscope? And also, what is the maximum magnificationsone can get?
I understand that everything is in respect to thenear point (the point where the human eye hasmaximum resolution / point of most distinct vision), which is~25cm from the tpyical unaided human eye. I alsounderstand that the human eye can only see so much detail and themicroscope can only resolve the image to finest detail that the eyecan see.
 
I need an explanation to the to the question posted tohelp me better understand the concepts. Thanks!
