The study of exceptionality y can be viewed through multiple lens: disability studies- is an invocative and complex multidisciplinary field with an extensive professional and academic foundation. addresses exceptionality in its social and political garb. Intervention may take many forms medical, technical, therapeutic and education. When the term at risk is used, children are seen to be vulnerable to some future conditions. Some children are at risk for exceptional conditions that affect their functioning and achievement. Or a child may be at risk for learning and behavioural problems due to external/home/opportunity factors y developmental disability is a broad and encompassing term referring to conditions that represent a significant delay in the process of development.
