Nervous system endocrine cells, exocrine cells y travel along axons, long distances y fast acting, short lasting y environment and behaviour. Regulating and conforming y regulators internal mechanisms regulate and maintain internal environment despite fluctuations in external environment (osmoregulation/thermoregulation) y conformers allow internal environment to change with external environment. 4 processes of heat exchange: y conduction y convection y radiation y evaporation.
