Disability = considered a consequence of impairment (e. g. , visual) Normal -> when the majority of people are doing something. At risk = risk status for likelihood of a particular experience/outcome. Health care management = technical or medical support. = is the term used to describe a number of conditions whereby the individual is significantly behind other people in terms of intellectual, social and life skills development (moustacalis) = assumptions and practices that promote unequal treatment of people because of difference (bogdan & biklen, 1993) Children with special needs term used to designate pupils who require special education. Special education based on notion that children with exceptionalities can reach their full potential given the opportunity, effective teaching and resources. It is instruction designed to meet the unique needs of children with exceptionalities.
