Cracking down on crime - many arrests. y politicians - being very reactive, aligning themselves with one side. Bandwagoning y action groups - moral entrepreneurs (becker) - self motivated, trying to drum up concern. y. Folk devils - these are the targets of the moral panic - personification of evil. y disaster mentality - things are seen as a national disaster - a heightened concern. Predictions and speculation of whats going to happen.
