He indentified important changes for schooling in the 19th century y 1st of the changes: industrial changes where it was more of an industrial y y change than agriculture ( industrial revolution) Important political changes, more of a democratic system. Religious influence was becoming less and less and what durkheim was concerned about was if religious influence was becoming less and less how they were supposed to carve the moral part of the society. What were they supposed to do about the religious influence becoming less.
