Determining earthquake probability and recurrence from past seismic events: Introduction: for this assignment, our main focus of earthquakes will be based on the vancouver. We are asked to calculate and compute the average number of earthquakes found with magnitudes from 2. 0 to 4. 9 for different year ranges starting from 1984 to 2008. We are also asked to research through given sources for historic information on the number of earthquakes from 1600"s. In the end we conclude this assignment with a graph representing our collected data and a final interpertation. The following is the given information related to the location of our research point: Top latitude is 52, left longitude -129, bottom latitude 47, right longitude -121. Based on the information given above and with the aid of the usgs, our results to search for the number of earthquakes between different years and magnitudes are recorded below.

Requirements

Create an Ubuntu 20 LAMP server in EC2 like we did in class.
Verify your that Apache was installed by opening your browser and enter the public dns of your server in the address bar. If it does not connect either you did not add HTTP to the Security Group, or the install did not work properly. Take a screenshot and save it (for submission below).
The default location of html and php files is /var/www/html. Change to that directory. Now, using your favorite text editor use sudo to run your editor and create a file in that directory named info.php. For example, sudo nano info.php Then enter the following in that file to show information about the PHP installation: <?php phpinfo(); ?> Save the changes to the file and exit the editor.
Now in your browser, enter the public dns of your server in the address bar / info.php. For example, my public dns was ec2-54-89-230-235.compute-1.amazonaws.com, so I enter as the url. Take a screenshot and save it (for submission below).
Create a Windows 2016 Server, like we did in class.
Login to it using Remote Desktop. Take a screenshot of Remote Desktop connected to your Windows Server and save it (for submission below).

Clean Up

Now that you have completed the assignment, stop or terminate your EC2 instances. Stopping them means that it is now longer running, but your data is saved. That means you will not accrue charges on your running server. Terminating will both stop and delete the instances (also not accruing charges).

You have been contracted by a popular fitness club to create a Java Program that
will help in the input, calculation, display of calories burnt and pounds lost during a week of
workout for members of the club.
The program will also base on the amount of weight lost update the weight of the user and
calculate and display the users BMI – body mass index using any researched method. See an

The club takes part in 5 major types of activities, namely walking, running, swimming, hiking,
and bicycling.
The program is to prompt for the Name of the member, gender, weight in pounds, height and
the time spend on each activity during the week in minutes.
The program will then calculate the calories burnt per activity, the total calorie burnt for the
week and the amount of weight lost during the week.
The amount of weight loss will be used to update the weight that was stored in the array and

 Women burn 1/6 less calories than Men.
 3500 calories = 1 pound of weight loss.
