This article looks at the normalization of violence in men"s sport and issues of violence against females. The author discusses the connection between violence in war and sport. Oj simpson and mark fuhrman share the ideology of coercive entitlement. In sport- violence is normalized and admired. If these acts of violence occurred outside of sport, it would be illegal. Sport promotes physical and sexual violence against women. Men are taught to dominate in the games, so they also dominate women in relationships. Men are fighting to win the women and to avoid being feminine. War also teaches men to be real men . War to men is childbirth to women- the power of life and death . Sport and war create the norm that men are born for violence and women are born to birth. The author argues that sport and war are sexualized through violence making it appealing to men.
