Interactive and critical knowledge should be considered in addition to scientific knowledge. Also requires accepting the validity of different forms of knowledge. And also need to develop frameworks where experts and citizens can work together to achieve public health goals. Public health and health promotion have tended to rely on traditional forms of scientific knowledge to guide the development of both healthy public policy and local public health programs.
