In greek: homeric hymns, homer"s iliad and odyssey, hesiod"s theogony, tragedies. Males: war, gymnasium, pederasty (men were trained to be men and separate from the women to become good citizens) Epheboi sexual relations with other men (before 30 years old) After 30 he would marry a young girl (age 14-15) Death was common during childbirth: miasma ( pollution )
