Tawhid: oneness of god, oneness in creations of allah. Seperation between oneness and how god relates to it: god is more than one, god transcends oneness. This is because we cannot comprehend god: tension between creator and the created. Nature is not sacred on itself, unless it is a reflection of god. Nature is only sacred when it reflects god: humans should see themselves as caretakers of the earth, god"s agents. Take care of the natural world that expresses the sacredness of god: nature is only sacred in allah"s glory. 5 principles of the earth: use nature and resources in a balanced matter. Not excessively: treat nature with kindness. Because it is an expression of god: do not damage or distort nature in any way, share natural resources. Deep ecology has western beliefs and values.
