Everything is dependant on something else: the self is conditioned by other things, notion of self is an illusion, we over identify with desires. Dharma: cosmic rule, all ideas lead to dharma, organizing principle of the universe. Dharma for buddha is realization to escape samsara is to achieve nirvana: extinguishing self, essence of buddhism is to minimize attachments. Proper awareness allows for recognition of no self, impermanence and dependant arising.
