When observing a pattern of our population growth it can be seen that we are growing exponential growth. Because we haven"t reached our carrying capacity. Due to technology we are able to improve lifestyles and thus increase the carrying capacity. Maybe we have overshot our carrying capacity and are on our way to a population crash. Not all species confine to logistic carrying capacity. Maybe we don"t have any competitors for resources or successfully outcompeting other species. It may be due to the fact that we have control over our environment. Development such as agriculture- larger number of ppl feed so increased carrying capacity. But it doesn"t have to remain this way. Improvements in medical technology increases little r decrease in per capita of death decreases child mortality women in childbirth. Most continents are shown to have an increase in population size.
