The scattered chromosomes is from a metaphase cell. The cell in top is an interphase cell the colour isn"t randomly repeated. In interphase the nucleus is very organized and order not random at all localized. Red blood cells display abo blood type antigens. In mature red blood cells have no nucleus and have antigens on their surface. 2 different alleles of the blood type gene; one on each replicated homologous chromosome # 9.
