Men react strongly when their relationship is going to end. This is because women talk to others about their relationship but men only talk to their partner about it. When one of the couple was androgynous they got along better than two couples following traditional roles. If sex and submission are strongly related they think strongly about the word submit. If they aren"t related they shouldn"t be as likely to think about submission so it will take longer to distinguish it as a word or non-word. If people found an association between sex and aggression they easily remembered aggressive traits. Throwing darts at a face is considered more aggressive than throwing it at an inanimate object. Men force women into two categories: lustful, deprived, prostitute or motherly. Benevolent sexists think women are supposed to be chaste not calling men over to their homes because it shows they are calling for sexual contact.
