The psychology of language 3rd edition by trevor harley. Many of the questions here do not have a specific answer. You go to the primary source of linguistics, you chose a paper and you read it and then you think of the study that would be conducted after. Pick a book, read the book and prepare a review of the book. The exams are going to be on anything that has been exposed to in class. Listening to lectures, readings, anything is fair game however heuristically speaking, there are only so many questions ones that the book and she covered in class. Ideal thing to do, because then you will have some deeper knowledge, keep up with the readings. Language is a quality that is unique to man. People differ in their gut instincts whether they want to believe that language is distinct to humans as opposed to just different with respect to humans.
