Perspective centered on the eye of the beholder, appearances travel in. Camera is a new perspective that can distribute images, eye is no longer the single visual point of perspective. Camera has changed how we see things, as well as paintings. Reproduction is possible; you can own a printed copy of a painting. Everything around the image is part of its meaning. Images come to you, you do not go to them. Meanings of painting have become transmittable; it has become information of a sort, pieces of information to be used. (advertising) Camera destroyed leonardo"s drawings original meaning when it was mass- produced. Stillness and silence of a painting is very striking. Paintings can be used in arguments and to make points; very different from their original meaning. Paintings can be changed by movement of a camera, music over it, words around it, photos beside it etc.
