Capacity to drink alcohol is directly related to the amount of alcohol dehydrogenase in the liver. More alcohol dehydrogenase = able to consume more alcohol. Alcohol dehydrogenase slowly increases when alcohol consumption is high. Co2 doesn"t exist as co2 in living systems.
