Document Summary
Qualitative research: gynaecology research that a person asks someone, the process of using an instrumental research, capturing the opinions of the large number of people. Asking questions, observing behaviour and to look at historical documents. It looks at multiple socially constructed realities of human life, qualities that are complicated, coming to understand and interpret how people construct the world around them. I" am the interviewer, the observer and conduct the research. It is not on a piece of paper to get the number. Quantitative research: just want to know the facts, collecting the information and analyzing it by the numbers. Positivism there is truth out there/there is something out there to be discovered. The role of the researcher is to observe and measure. Objectivity: you are not putting your own bias and values. It is only on observable phenomena not based on emotions or personal prejudices.
