Psychological stress : usually something that makes you need to readjust your life. Physiological stress: psychological steressful events can cause physiological stress on your body. Stress that has an effect on your body. Allostatic load: when your body is not very allostatic don"t have that flexibility to respond and it overloads and damages the body caused by chronic stressors. When your stressed you can improve and that"s called challenge. The other where its inhibiting performance that"s called threat. Challenge is efficient mode of heart where threat is inefficient. If your personal resources exceed situational demand you are challenged by stress you can cope. If your situational demand exceeds personal resources, you don"t have enough resources to conquer then you are threatened by stress. When body is stressed, releases cortisol that has affect on memory and linguistics. Healthy response to cause relaxation after stressful events. What u expect is what your body is going to respond to.
