Social, structural inequalities experienced in early years leads to disadvantages later. Less pension because worked less; taking care of family; worked part time etc. Managers in workplace view employers as less useful as they age. Can thing of as from early to later years. Focuses on keeping people in their own homes. Older adults age in place than institutional setting. Medicine in hcs is small part for people being healthy. Way to do it: increase knowledge on healthy behaviour. Comprehensiveness: services include things, like out/in patient care; diagnostic services; everything a dr. deems medically necessary.
