Objectives:

• Identify methods of shopping wisely
• Create a list of personal money-saving strategies

Directions: Read the newsletter Shopping Savvy. Complete the activities in the newsletter. These activities will not be submitted for grading.

Then complete the following for grading:

• Identify a time when you did not shop wisely and spent too much for an item or items
• Identify a time when you did shop wisely and saved money on an item or items.
• Make a list of the strategies you use to shop wisely.
• Identify stores in your area where you shop to stay within your budget.
• Make a 'tip' sheet for someone you know who has just moved to your neighborhood and does not know where to shop for bargains.
