Background and context
An infectious tiny particle that has the ability to reproduce only by infecting a host cell is termed a virus. It basically uses host cell and their resources to produce more viruses. These are extremely smaller in size and are considered acellular. Though viruses are acellular, they have certain significant features in common with cell-based life such as the nucleic acid genomes. There are many different types of viruses that exist in the world.
