Background and context
There are four different types of nucleotides that are found in the DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). These nucleotides can be found in any manner and their pattern is not fixed. Relatives or family members tend to have more similar sequencing of the nucleotides in the DNA than their friends or unknown individuals.
