Background and context

Sex-determination means being male or female phenotypically. In animal words, two types of sex are found that is male and female. Their sexual morphology and anatomy are different. Sexual reproduction involves the alteration of haploid and diploid cells. It means meiosis produces haploid gametes and fertilization results in the diploid zygote. The process or mechanism by which an organism would be male or female is called sex determination.
