Given information

Given  reaction:

Step-by-step explanation

Step 1.

A voltaic cell is a type of electrochemical cell in which chemical energy is converted to electrical energy in a spontaneous reaction. It contains two half cells. Each contains a metal strip (electrode) dipped in a solution, where oxidation-reduction occurs. The electrode at which electrons are lost or oxidation occurs, known as "Anode" and the electrode at which reduction occurs, known as "Cathode".

Since the electrons are lost at the anode, so electrons flow from anode to cathode.

Both the half cells are connected  "U" shaped tube known as " Salt bridge". It contains generally solution. It allows the flow of ions to complete the circuit and neutralize the charge of free ions.
