Farmingdale State College (formerly SUNY College of Technology of Farmingdale) is a public college within the State University of New York system. Founded in 1912, the college provides career-oriented baccalaureate and associate degrees in technological fields and the applied sciences that support local economic development. All professional and technical programs have a strong foundation in the liberal arts. Students constantly examine the essential connections between technology and the arts and humanities. The college's 380-acre campus is located on Long Island, 25 miles from New York City.
