MMM132/MMP132 SAMPLE EXAM RESPONSES 201801
Important considerations for your study for your exam:
Your exam will comprise six (6) short answer questions, one from each of topics 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.
You will choose to answer five (5) questions only. Each question is worth 10 marks, the exam is
worth 50 marks of the total for the unit. There is no exam hurdle in this unit, your total marks
including all assessments need to add to 50 to gain a minimum of a pass.
Please study all six topics that will make up the exam, choosing to study only 5 in the hope that the
actual question on a particular topic is the part of the topic you studied limits you considerably.
Important information for responding to exam questions:
Your aim is to show knowledge and understanding. Showing knowledge means defining
terms/concepts, listing steps, listing advantages/disadvantages, depending on what the question
asks you to do. Showing understanding is where you explain how/why the concept or term is used,
how/why advantages are advantages, how/why disadvantages are disadvantages again depending
on what the question asks you to do. You ill e asked to use eaples to eplai, or illustrate
our aser ith eaples. You a ake these up, the dot hae to e real orgaisatio
examples either. Remember your aim is to convince the assessor you are RIGHT. How can you do
this? You do this by explaining concepts and by using examples to show your understanding of
application of concepts.
The length of your response is up to you. There are no word limits as such, just make sure you have
answered the question to the best of your ability, and shown knowledge and understanding.
