Francesco was an italian physician who experimented the rotting of meat in the jars. He hypothesized that maggots came from flies and not from the rotting meat. Chloroplasts have chlorophyll and this is what makes plants green in colour: the new invention of technology is the microscope. It has improved helping scientists by overcoming their limits to their understanding. This helped them understand further in depth of the cells. But when he did an experiment with the flask, he observed that spontaneous generation did not occur. Rudolf virchow proposed that new cells are formed only from existing cells.
