There will be 24 stations of questions set up around the lab room. You will have 2 minutes at each station to answer the question(s) asked. You will be given an additional 2 minutes at the end to complete any questions you need time to finish (you cannot move to another station). The question types include slides; live specimens; fill in the blank; match; true false and short answer. The material covered is only what has been provided in the lab manual and during the lab exercises. Below are questions to help you become familiar with the types of questions that may be asked. If you can answer these questions then you will be well prepared for the exam: label the circle as if it is a ypd plate that you are inoculating with saccharomyces cerevisiae, to be incubated at 25oc.
