Hyperarousal: list the possible, negative outcomes from trauma, being sure to give at least one example for each of the following: impact on body, on mind, on psychological well- being, and on social experience & functioning, ptsd. Intrusive recall (nightmares that relived the events) Hyperarousal: ptss (post traumatic stress symptoms) Common symptoms are depression, and anger: cognitive changes from ptsd. Difficulty in focusing attention: social impact from ptsd. Hard to live with: physical health problems from ptsd. Children who suffer from trauma, miss out of social skill development. Health problems like flu, colds, cancer, mental health problems, more common is people that suffer from trauma: what factors increase the likelihood of negative outcomes, dose. The more events, the more the possibility of a good outcome: age. Traumatic events in childhood, have higher impacts than as an adult: social support (before, during, and after the event)
