What we are going to do is an intro into ethics: basic ethical principles, questions and then look more closesly between relationship of ethics and media, ethics of media institutions. See someone yelling at a homeless person, being mean. Most of us would run across the street and intervene, some keep walking, some of us keep walking although they know you should intervene, someone us is going to, might look away, may call the police. These are the questions at the bottom of ethics. Morality: the rules that guide the actions of an individual, group, or collectivity- concerned primarily with questions of right and wrong. Ethics: analysis, evaluation, and sometimes promotions of moral rules of good conduct to guide ones actions.
