Law jane. dickson@carleton. ca: pass, tuesday 2:30 to 4 paterson hall 240, wednesday 6 to 7:30 dunton tower 1006, begin the week of september 19th, arielletyrrell@cmail. carleton. ca. A man attends a bush party, and gets intoxicated through the night. While walking around the party, he comes across a young girl, who is passed out. He goes to the girl and has sexual interactions with her. The next morning he wakes up next to the girl, and she is dead. He might have harmed her under the in uence, which should be charged: although it could be not considered his fault, he could still be at fault for her death. He did not warn or tell anyone that the woman was unconscious. Since he was intoxicated, he might not have been completely aware of the situation. Without knowing that she was dead, he intended to have sex with her. There are moral obligations, and legal obligations.
