We all live near other people and must find a way to live together peacefully. A failure to maintain separation of powers can result in the executive branch of government interfering with the independence of the judiciary and lawyers. This erodes the rule of law and the protections it affords. Rule that governs the principles and basis of administrative law. The rule of law means that because of the law, in virtue of the law, everybody is equal before the law. It means that there will be liability and punishment only when acts are contrary to the provisions of the law. It means there is recourse to the courts and tribunal when the governments do something that is improper.
