1. Interscholastic sport Refers to
organized competitive sport carried out
between educational institutions.
2. Interscholastic is not the same as
intramural.
3. Intramurals sports usually organized
by student athletic associations on a more informal basis.
a. Ex: Physical and Health Education Canada (PHE) Provides leadership intramural
school sports. (Formerly known as Canadian Association for Health, Physical
Education, Recreation and Dance (CAHPERD)
