Dip is the angle it makes with the horizontal plane. Same elevation everywhere so outcrop pattern is like topographic contour maps. Outcrop pattern creates a v with the direction of the dip. Outcrop creates a v in the direction of the dip. Lots or organic material added as rivers and channels migrate across delta plain. It is hard to build on delta because the surface is constantly changing. There is currents, water and sediment moving around. Temperatures low enough to retain snow year round light latitude and altitude. Snow - some polar climates are very dry so they don"t have glaciers. To form glaciers, you need cold summers so the snow does not melt. When you are closer to the pole, you are angled away from the sun so the snow is less likely to melt. It is colder to high altitudes so it is less likely for the snow to melt.
