Against how globalization is in today worlds. Key criticisms: mainly driven by westerners (white saviour complex), unorganized, hypocritical, ignores positives and exaggerates negatives. Combines 3 core elements: economic populism (anti free trade, strong (ethnic) nationalism ( anti immigrant, conservative beliefs ( anti lgbtq rights) A problem faced by every person and nation state on earth ex global warming. Set of values adopted by the entire world to govern people morals. There can not be a global ethic as these are all socially constructed values and norms. Using a global ethic can be used to impose views on others. Critics: there must be some kind of global ethic or how could the nazis be condemned.
